Rebecca is an actress, writer, director and producer. She earned a place at the prestigious ArtsEd in London after a seven hour audition for their BA (Hons) Degree Musical Theatre programme. Upon graduating and in the following few years, Rebecca was cast for both stage and screen. In 2013 she set up a production company and the following year, produced a play Off-West-End whilst also acting in the leading role. Due to its critically acclaimed run, it transferred to the West End thereafter, thus giving her the titles of “West End Producer” and “West End Actor”. Rebecca is an award winning director and writer for both screen and fiction, she currently has several projects in development. She also works as a diagnostic vocal coach at www.rebeccahickey.com. Rebecca works 1-2-1 with her clients to aid in the development of their vocal strengths. This is not only for people in the creative industry but for those in the corporate sphere too. Rebecca has coached Managing Directors, COOs, PhD students, Fitness professionals and more. She is passionate about helping anyone who is keen to make a better impression and gain more confidence, whether that be in meetings, delivering a presentation or simply being able to get an idea across to a group of people with ease. Rebecca also hosts workshops for producers, directors, writers and actors who want to learn how to create their own work, a skill which has never been more prevalent than now.
